Regional Recycling is a local family run business that would love to have your family become a part of ours. We are a high-volume Recycling Facility carrying out a goal of Zero Waste and have 9 locations that span across the Lower Mainland, Sea to Sky and Vancouver Island.

Currently, we are looking for full
- time **5-ton Truck Driver** for our **Whistler location. **_**The pickups are mostly in Whistler, with 1 day in Squamish every other week**_. We are seeking applicants who are responsible and can work independently with mínimal supervision and provide quality pick up service for our commercial and residential customers while adhering to all Industry Standards around quality, environment, health and safety policies and regulations.

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR...**
- minimum 1 year experience operating a 5-ton truck (or a bus, dually, or an RV).
- valid BC Class 5 driver’s license, safe driving practices including a clear driving record, with proof of driving abstract.
- good geographical knowledge of the Whistler and surrounding areas as well as timely route management practices.
- the ability to operate a power tailgate and pallet jack (forklift experience is an asset).
- experience moving skids and various other types of loads.
- the ability to personally lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.)
- good English communication skills and quality customer service.
- experience with paperwork including logbooks, purchase order books, etc.
- comfortable with Android Smart Phones.
- demonstrated initiative and the ability to take and follow directions.
- ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- flexibility with hours, and able to work overtime and weekends as required.
- High commitment to personal safety and the safety of the others.

**SCHEDULE**
- 10-hour shift (x 4 days/week)

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
