- **Annual Base Salary**: $53,000 to $58,000 CAD

**Marketing Specialist I, Culture and Communications**:
Safe Software is looking for a Marketing Specialist I, Culture and Communications to join the Marketing Communications team.
The Marketing Specialist I, Culture and Communications is an early career marketing specialist that is our key to showcasing our corporate culture, values and mission to the outside world. This position should exhibit unwavering authenticity and thoughtfulness about our company’s vested interests in: developing and executing proactive and strategic communication initiatives, programs, and events that represent Safe Software’s brand, services and culture; to promote to customers, prospective clients as well as current and prospective employees.

**About The Team**:
The Marketing Communications Team specializes in promoting Safe’s content to engage customers and build brand recognition. Examples include creating the messaging guides for events, promoting selected webinars and releases through paid and social advertising, updating web copy and contributing to the Safe Software brand. Our team works closely with other marketing and sales professionals across the company to drive and shape a cohesive brand experience that promotes long-term engagement.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As a Marketing Specialist I, Culture and Communications, you’ll have the opportunity to:

- Creating and scheduling content that captures the culture of our corporate brand. Includes BTS and fun committee content, various social events within Safe, internal/external initiatives (i.e. diversity and inclusion), campaigns for charity events, brand awareness to our team’s engagement and commitment to our community.
- Working closely with our HR team, bringing awareness to Safe’s core values, by recognizing the team and showcasing employee experience stories.
- Support the HR team with various campaigns to promote or garner excitement around upcoming events; share updates to benefits or policies etc.
- Develop compelling marketing content to attract prospective customers.
- Support various marketing communication programs to help build awareness and/or generate leads for Safe Software products and services.
- Provide project management support for initiatives across the marketing team.
- Contribute to the Safe Software social media marketing, which includes posting, scheduling content, and responding to comments.

**Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies**:
Safers come from a variety of backgrounds with a diversity in skills and knowledge. That said, we find that those who are most successful in this role have experience with the following areas.

**Required skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrable experience in social media and marketing across multiple platforms
- Tech-savvy and well honed abilities with marketing programs such as Canva.
- An amicable, authoritative and culturally aware disposition.
- Strong time management and ability to manage priorities.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and takes initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
