**Position Title**:Community Innovation Manager
**Department**: Community Innovation
**Reports to**: Director of Community Innovation
**Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversees and manages all aspects of funding contracts, including developing project plans and evaluation frameworks, deliverable tracking, report writing, budget management, and staffing
- Leads and facilitates community engagement activities with an intersectional lens
- Conducts project-specific research, including in-depth interviews with knowledge experts and literature reviews on anti-racism, Indigeneity, equity, & community engagement strategies to reduce racism and increase im/migrant inclusion
- Develops and maintains relationships with a diverse range of community partners and funders
- Provides input on equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, particularly as it relates to im/migrant inclusion
- Provides leadership and direction to staff, suppliers and third-party consultants
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Community Innovation to expand the department portfolio through identifying new funding opportunities
- Works collaboratively with Communications staff on the creation of marketing and communications materials including, but not limited to; videos, posters, social media and articles related to Community Innovation projects
- Collaborates with staff teams across internal areas of work toward continuous improvement and innovation of internal EDI practices and strategies, including program, product and/or service innovation; funding innovation and systems innovation
- Working collaboratively with the Director of Community Innovation to establish departmental processes and procedures
- Actively participates in department, all-staff and leadership team meetings
- Other related duties, as required

**Minimum Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of education/ experience in diversity, inclusion, anti-racism programming
- 2-3 years experience in project management and staff coaching and support
- Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and work styles
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, step outside of your comfort zone and embrace learning through action.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships among diverse partners
- Proven record of achieving contract deliverables and operational goals
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and writing/verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, innovation and solution-finding skills
- Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Familiarity of and/or lived experience of diversity, as it relates to the im/migrant settlement experience, is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is considered an asset.
**Additional Information**
**Hours**: 28- 35 hours / week
**Salary Range**: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour, dependent on experience
