**ALLOCATION ANALYST**

At Bootlegger, our Allocation Analyst is responsible for formulating and executing allocation strategies ensuring optimal in-store inventory levels that deliver the desired sales and margin goals for the company. In partnership with the Merchandising and Planning teams, our Allocation Analysts ensure timely flow of merchandise from the Distribution Centre to stores to support the assortment strategy and in-store marketing events.

**What you’ll be a part of**
- Responsible for creating optimal product inventory at store level through analysis and allocation of goods to maximize profitable sales while minimizing markdowns
- Execute weekly shipping strategies that will enable allocating the right products to the right stores at the right time through utilization of department/sub-class specific sales trends, store volumes and inventory optimization
- Analysis of store rankings seasonally and in season to support store needs and future planning
- Communicating regularly with the Allocation Manager to facilitate informed decision making
- Works collaboratively with the planning and buying teams to execute business strategies
- Analysis of seasonal business opportunities to measure results and forecast for upcoming seasons
- Collaborates and assists Stores and Distribution Centre to review and resolve issues related to product
- Assists with planning and execution of specific store events to optimize shipping strategies & sales

**The right fit**
- College Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Retail or Business Management is preferred; or equivalent work experience
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to aid in effective decision-making
- Organized and detail orientated, especially when working under tight deadlines
- Intermediate computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft suite programs
- Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Previous experience with Aptos considered an asset
