**About Us**:
At District 22, we are dedicated to providing nutritious and appealing meals to our students from elementary through high school. We are seeking a dependable Kitchen Assistant to join our cafeteria team and contribute to a positive dining experience for all students.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Assist with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining food safety standards.
- Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organized, including cleaning tables, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Support kitchen staff with various tasks to ensure smooth operations during meal times.
- Follow all health and safety regulations as required by school policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or cafeteria setting is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must have no criminal record and pass background checks as mandated by school policy.
