Primary Responsibilities
- Enthusiastically communicate the restaurant's vision to all team members and lead by example.
- Actively involved in running the floor by being hands on in all facets of the restaurants.
- Build and maintain relationships with Members, Employees and management alike.
- Contribute to the culture of Member service by demonstrating superior hospitality skills.
- Coordinate the timely delivery of beverage and food service during all meal periods.
- Use problem solving skills to ensure a high level of Member satisfaction.
- Inspects all the restaurant's areas for cleanliness prior to service and report any deficiencies.
- You have a strong grasp or service needs experience and schedule accordingly, including holiday management and payroll.
- Responsible for proper training and assisting with the growth and development of supervisors & assistant managers.
- You’ve got a keen eye for talent and conduct recruitment selection, training and development initiatives as well as performance management and employee coaching
- Handles and reports all comments, compliments and complaints from both Members and Employees.
- Ability to carry out all opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
- Assists senior managers during the budgetary process.
- Embody the Club’s values daily and inspire the team with the exciting vision for the future
- Regularly monitor and achieve the Club’s points of technical detailed service
- You conduct and coach your management team to host well informed briefings with service staff prior to each function or service

Required Qualifications
- Three years restaurant related experience; previous experience in top quality dining room an asset.
- Superior communication and people skills with the ability to quickly develop relationships. Possess a polished presence and an outgoing personality.
- Capable of handling pressure and the ability to adapt to new situations.
- Thorough knowledge of upscale service standards.
- Good understating of wine, beer and cocktails.
- Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to handle a large and varied workload. Understanding all policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and specifications.
- Previous experience within a unionized environment is an asset.
- Smart Serve certified.
- Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with POS and Microsoft Office products.
- Flexible to work variable shifts; evenings, weekends and holidays
