**Your area of focus.**
A Deal Posting Clerk is responsible for posting deals and managing the paperwork related to vehicle sales. This includes verifying and organizing sales contracts, handling financing documents, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of dealership operations.
**What drives your day-to-day?**
- Posting deal sales into accounting
- Calculating & posting sales commissions
- Reconciling flooring liabilities
- Reconciling various accounting schedules relating to vehicle inventory
- Processing after-sales remittances
- Filing, electronic filing, scanning, & tracking documents
- Creating, formatting various documents, & correspondence
**What are the must haves?**
- A high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in dealership deal posting and/or dealership accounting.
- Deal posting experience in a dealership environment is an asset.
- Experience with CDK software would be considered an asset.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to interact with internal clients, key vendors, and employees.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with an ability to multi-task and set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, handling multiple priorities, performing a variety of tasks and meeting required deadlines.
- Proven ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines.
- Bilingual French and English, as this role requires the ability to communicate in French and English.
