On Call hours are typically 8:00am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday, with the potential for extra hours. Holidays align with school holidays.

**Job Requirements**

**Skills**:

- Experience working with preschool aged students.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers, students and society members with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of current child development theories and understanding of the theories behind various learning styles.
- Ability to support and respond to different learning styles. Specialized training is an asset.
- Time management skills with ability to be flexible and multitask.
- Ability to understand and follow a lesson plan as set out by the classroom teacher.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to manage a group of preschool-aged students.

**Specialized Knowledge/Education**:

- ECE or ECEA certificate.
- Current first aid certificate.
- Current criminal record check.

Compensation: 26.76/hr
