**Summary**

We are seeking a Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic team at MACHINO DONUTS. In this role, you will assist with food preparation, baking, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly. Your contributions will be vital in delivering exceptional products and customer experiences.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for baking and cooking.
- Support the baking process by following recipes and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Package finished products for display and sale.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for plant-based food and customer service.

**Location**: Toronto, Ontario (Must live within a 30-minute commute)
**Shift**: Starts at **5:00 AM to 1:00 PM** or sometimes dayshift (12:00 PM to 8:00 PM)

**Responsibilities**:
**Baking & Preparation**:

- Shape, bake, and decorate donuts to ensure consistent quality.
- Prepare ingredients, fillings, and glazes.
- Follow food safety and cleanliness standards.

**Decorating & Presentation**:

- Carefully glaze, top, and finish donuts to match our standards.
- Keep displays looking fresh and appealing.

**Customer Service & POS Handling**:

- Assist customers with orders and recommendations.
- Use the POS system, handle cash, and pack donuts efficiently.
- Make coffee and prepare simple beverages.

**General Duties**:

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Be flexible and willing to learn new tasks.

**Requirements**:

- **Must live within a 30-minute commute** to our location.
- **At least 1 year of experience in the food industry** (bakery, café, restaurant, or similar).
- **Able to start at 5:00 AM** and work flexible hours.
- Responsible, eager to learn, and adaptable.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced bakery environment.
