Audio Visual Technician

Are you ready to help us elevate the audiovisual experience for epic events across the BC Interior? We are gearing up for a busy summer of festivals and concerts and we are looking for a proactive AV Technician to help make our events come alive, with the role encompassing equipment setup, operation, and teardown, while also playing a crucial part in warehouse activities.

We deliver events far and wide across Canada and the USA.

**What you will have the opportunity to do**:

- Set-up, operation and dismantle of AV equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise
- Liaise with internal team to develop solutions for audio/video/lighting configurations in order to meet project requirements
- Provides an exceptional customer service experience to clients and/or venue staff
- Loading and unloading of equipment from trucks or trailers
- Driving company vehicles
- Operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Assist in the prep and de-prep of equipment and provide general warehouse support
- Ensure proper storage, transportation and maintenance of equipment
- Complete required paperwork and data entry in a timely and accurate manner
- Other duties as required

**To be successful in this role you**:

- Have 1+ years of audio visual experience within live events
- High school education required and an AV technical education is preferred
- Have a valid class 5 BC drivers license or equivalent and reliable transportation
- Are physically fit, safety-minded and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Have the ability to be flexible in working hours and be available to work outside of regular business hours

**What the role entails**:

- Seasonal position which include variable shift pattern of early mornings, evenings, and weekend shifts
- Technical Training and Mentoring Opportunities
- Regular Social Events Throughout the year
- Involves physical labor and the requirement to work in different event venues and properties both indoor and outdoors in environments that are often loud and bright.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
