**Position Summary**:
We are growing... and hiring
We are currently recruiting a **Bakers’ Helper **to join us in our K1 location in Edmonton. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Bakers’ Helper is responsible for dispensing the raw ingredients at the right time, temperature, quantity, and sequence to accurately follow formulations of batches of wet dough mixtures for baked goods production.
**NOTE 1: This shift is from** **3:00 am to 11:15 am - Monday through Friday***
**NOTE 2: Proof of Covid Double Vaccination is required***
**Skills Required**:
- Fluent written/verbal communications skills in the English Language
- Ability to run pressure machines, mixing machines
- Knowledge of gluten-free product an asset
- Above average communication skills
- Physically fit, capable of heavy lifting
- Good eye/hand coordination
- Previous line work/mixing/baking experience an asset
- BRC, HACCP, food-safety experience/knowledge an asset
- Ability to work flexible, variable shifts as needed
**Duties**:
- Ensures neat and tidy work stations during and at end of shift
- Performs duties to assist Bakers including greasing pans, assisting in donut area, pie crust production, etc.
- Clean and sanitize tables, fridges as required
- Wears proper PPE equipment as required
- Follows exact the formulation for time, accuracy, temperature, quantity and sequence
- Assists in proper mixing of all baking products
- Able to follow productions sheets and scooping breads
- Completes paperwork necessary to track production and formula ingredients
- Communicate with all supervisors and team leaders
- Clean and sanitize tables, racks in the donut area
- Ensures adherence to all Company policies and procedures
- Ensures Company Health & Safety Standards are met and maintained
- Ensures compliance with BRC and HACCP programs to ensure food safety
