**ABOUT WATER and ICE Co.**

Water and Ice Co. is a fast-growing bottled water and bagged ice manufacturer based out of Leduc, AB. We run a local store front while delivering water and ice to Leduc, Edmonton, and surrounding areas.

**Position Overview**

The Shop Assistant is responsible for the manufacture of all in house products for Water and Ice Co. (the “Company”), operation of production related equipment, and assisting in loading/unloading delivery vehicles. The Shop Assistant assists in all aspects of the business to support the daily operation of the Company and is considered a developmental role to move into partial or full time Delivery Driver responsibilities.

**General Responsibilities**
- Loading/Unloading of delivery trucks supporting the Drivers
- Organization of incoming and outgoing product
- Operation of electric palletizer
- Inspection, Sanitation, and filling of water bottles for delivery
- Ice production for ice delivery sales
- Inventory tracking of items produced, loaded, and received
- Daily inspection of all production related equipment to ensure safe operation
- Care and cleaning of production equipment
- Ride alongs to assist with and learn the Delivery Driver responsibilities
- Occasional solo delivery runs when skills permit
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Schedule flexibility and willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Ability to lift 44 pounds repeatedly
- Responsiveness and ability to problem-solve
- Professional attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Prior forklift/palletizer experience an asset
- Familiarity with inventory tracking an asset
