**Duties**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use.
- Take patient medical histories and record vital signs as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure the cleanliness of the office environment.
- Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric dental care as required.

**Skills**
- Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics being highly desirable.
- Ability to utilize CAD technology for dental procedures is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
