Aurora Marine Industries is looking for an Ubuntu experienced Computer Network Technician that can make sure that all of our desktop computers are connected to our Linux based server and that we have automatic backups and security. This is a part time gig for someone that wants to make extra money.

We’re located in Mississauga and initially you will need to attend our offices. This can be done after hours or on weekends if necessary. After, you will be on call in case we have ongoing issues, but this can be done remotely.

**Full Job Description**

Experience: 3 years +

**Tasks**
- Maintain, troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
- Install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
- Experience with Linux/Ubuntu server systems.
- Implement data, software and hardware security procedures
- Set up automatic data backups

Good communication skills in English is a must.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
