Reporting to the Field Operations Director, you will be working as part of our project team providing support on various construction tasks. **This role is employed through CLAC, and membership will be required once hired.** **Roles & Responsibilities** - Willing and able to perform physically demanding work including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Adherence and participation in the Scott Construction Health & Safety Program - Clean up, shoveling, moving materials - Proficiency on some power tools - Able to perform: - Demolition. Digging, Backfill, Compaction. Swamper, Dewatering. Dismantle forms, non-engineered hoarding and fencing, Grading. Slab on grade prep. Rodman - Garbage and Waste removal - Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas - Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades - Assist carpenters in construction activities - Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials - Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment - Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed - Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps - Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials - Oil and grease hoists and similar equipment - Direct traffic at or near construction sites - Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed. - Live the Company Values **Scott Construction Values** - **People First |** _When we take care of people, we take care of Scott, our Industry and our communities._ - **Safety Always |** _We owe it to each other to get home safely._ - **Seek Better Ways |** _Innovation and development fuels growth._ - **Get It Done |** _Deliver on every commitment._ - **Have Fun |** _Enjoy what you do._ - **Own It |** _Be accountable and take pride in each day’s work._ **Qualifications** - Valid SiteReadyBC, Fall Protection, and Level 1 First Aid tickets, Telehandler ticket an asset - At least 1 years construction site experience - Good communication skills and strong focus on client relationships **Salary**: $27.55-$33.06 per hour
