To become a true partner to our clients and act as an extension of their services, welcoming and assisting each of their guests while simplifying traffic and parking management.
**Position Summary**
Carraway is looking for a dedicated Parking Attendant Supervisor for part-time work in the customer service/parking management industry. You will be working out of the International Centre and may be required to overlook other contracts where Parking Management Services are needed.
**PLEASE NOTE: INTERVIEWS FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE IN PERSON**
**Description of Duties**:
- Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized
- Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces
- Patrol parking areas in order to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts
- Direct guests to available parking spaces and strategically manage lots space to maximize passenger vehicle and tour bus parking
- Lift, position, and remove barricades in order to open or close parking areas
- Manage the docking area by forming a queue with the trucks and or/trailers
Minimum Requirements:
- Able to work outdoors for long periods
- G License
- Over 25 years of age for Insurance reasons
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Lift a maximum of 15 pounds
- Must possess a phone with data
- Superior customer service skills and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Must be dependable, available, physically fit, and have good character
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years customer service experience
- 1 Year of Supervisor Experience in a related field
Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Actively looking for ways to help people
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills;
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills;
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, multi-tasked environment;
- Good public speaking and presentation skills in group settings;
- Team player
You must be able to attend the interview at our office located in Mississauga.
