**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**:
The Cancoil Thermal Corporation Buyer will be required on a daily and/or weekly basis for all Class B purchased parts and services:
1. Analyze requirements by using the Purchasing Requirement Report, analyze trends, determine order quantities, issue instructions to assistants to prepare and transmit purchase orders and review corresponding order acknowledgments to ensure accuracy and compliance to the company’s needs.

2. Track, expedite and arrange shipping for incoming materials based on current carrier selection matrix.

3. Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress and contact suppliers to resolve problems.

4. Tracking order acknowledgements/ confirmations, communicate due date changes to Scheduling.

5. Assist Accounting Department with resolving discrepancies on invoices.

6. Track and manage warehouse inventory levels.

7. Locate, source and obtain parts and price quotations. Coordinate the approval of product specifications with the Engineering Department.

8. Accountable for price and lead-time changes in MRP System (Syteline) after assistants have obtained new and approved quotations.

9. Issue instruction for Inventory adjustments including scrap adjustments.

10. Adhere to ISO standards, track supplier issues and concerns, issue supplier non
- conformances (SNCR’s) as necessary, follow up on supplier non-conformances to completion, organize and conduct supplier reports yearly.

11. Assist other employees in Department when required.

12. Lead cost-reduction projects.

13. Create spreadsheets, conduct analysis and undertake projects.

14. Other duties as assigned.

**Skills: This position requires**:

- A College Diploma in Business or a related field and/or minimum 5 years Buyer work experience in manufacturing.

- Strong inter-personal skills
- Proficient/Expert level in Excel
- Mathematical inclination with excellent attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
