**Summary**
**Essential Functions**
- Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations;
- Plan and review, in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, all logistics processes, ensuring that they meet the company standards and customer service specifications
- Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of the workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics
- Accountable for site Key Performance Indication (KPI)
- Working in collaboration with customer in all aspect of operations
- Meet regularly with team members collectively, as well as on an individual basis to monitor progress towards meeting objectives, track performance, coach and counsel as well as recognizing team and individual successes
- Cultivate team spirit with a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and promote cooperation by seeking opportunities to improve internal processes
- Carry out performance evaluations of the team members and recommend performance awards and/or merit increases when appropriate
- Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process
- Understand labor agreement and maintain positive labor relations with all employees
- Responsible for implementation of health & safety and security initiatives, practices and behaviors and adherence to company rules and policies
- Provide appropriate orientation for employees and Lead Hands and give them the information, technology and any material necessary to perform their jobs

**Qualifications**
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred
- 0 to One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required

**Description du poste**:
Relevant du gestionnaire, le superviseur de la logistique est responsable de superviser, observer et coordonner les opérations logistiques ainsi que de fournir un encadrement, du développement et de la formation aux membres du personnel. Il doit être capable de fournir des recommandations pour l’amélioration des installations, des équipements, de la machinerie et des processus.
**Responsabilités**:
- Gérer les déplacements de materiel de production et les flux sortants de tout les arrimages d'une manière efficace selon des paramètres prédéterminés, tout en réagissant aux exceptions de logistique au jour le jour
- Rencontrer régulièrement l'équipe centrale d'ingénierie et de logistique, pour revoir les exigences actuelles et le rendement courant des objectifs d'utilisation cubique ainsi que pour réviser et développer les besoins futurs en logistique selon les exigences des clients.
- S'assurer de la conformité des transporteurs à un ensemble donné de paramètres, mener des investigations OS & D, gérer le processus de réclamation des transporteurs
- Fournir des rapport réguliers en temps opportun et responsable des indicateurs de rendement clés (IRC) de l'emplacement
- Planifier, mener et réviser des audits de santé/sécurité et d'utilisation cubique, en s'assurant que tous les paramètres sont remplis et que les initiatives d'amélioration continue sont suivies

**Exigences**:
H.S. diplôme/GED requis
Un (1) an ou plus d'expérience dans le domaine du transport, de l'entrepôt ou de la distribution, de préférence
0 à un (1) an d'expérience directe en supervision / leadership requise
Centré sur les résultats avec un degré élevé d'initiative (Exigé).
Bonnes compétences en leadership. Compétences en motivation (Exigé).
Bonnes aptitudes interpersonnelles. Environnement d'équipe diversifiée (Exigé).
