**Job Duties**
- Sets up for opening or cleans up for closing of the retail area
- Greets customers and provides friendly and courteous service
- Operates electronic Point of Sale (POS) system
- Ensures recording of all cash and non-cash transactions as presented
- Maintains the security and safe keeping of cash and related negotiables
- Communicates when appropriate amounts of coin and bills for change is required
- Ensures working area, dining room, tables, chairs and service areas are kept clean before, during and after peak period
- Refers customer requests and/or concerns, to the supervisor or manager
- Identifies when short on products, food stuffs etc. to manager
- Follows established principles and schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) of sanitation for cleaning
- Complies with occupational health and safety requirements for working safely
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 1-year food service experience would be an asset
- Ability to lift to 10 lbs
- Knows and follows knife handling skills and safety requirements
- Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Solid knowledge of customer service skills to provide counter or food station service
- Successful Police/Vulnerable Sectors Check will be required as you are working among young children
- Up to date Covid-19 vaccination will be required as per client’s policy

**Schedule**
- Sunday to Thursday 11:00 am to 7:30 PM
- Friday and Saturday off but may be required for special events

**Experience**:

- Food Service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
