**Position Summary**
The **Business Development coordinator** is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales support by handling inbound and outbound calls, responding to online inquiries, and proactively following up with customers to encourage service retention and dealership loyalty. The BDC Representative plays a key role in maintaining positive customer relationships, scheduling appointments, and supporting the overall success of the dealership by maximizing service and sales opportunities.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- ** Customer Contact & Relationship Building**
- Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers for service reminders, recalls, and promotional offers.
- Build trust and rapport by providing clear, friendly, and helpful information to meet customer needs.
- ** Appointment Scheduling & Follow-Up**
- Schedule and confirm service appointments, ensuring customers are aware of upcoming maintenance or recall requirements.
- Follow up on missed or canceled appointments to re-engage customers.
- Update and maintain accurate customer information within the dealership’s CRM system.
- ** Sales & Service Support**
- Identify customer needs and promote appropriate products, services, and offers to increase retention and satisfaction.
- Introduce and explain dealership promotions or programs where applicable.
- Contribute to the dealership’s customer satisfaction index (CSI) by delivering outstanding service.
- ** Process & Reporting Support**
- Track and document customer interactions, appointments, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
- Assist in generating and analyzing call reports to identify opportunities for improved customer outreach.
- Provide feedback on customer concerns and trends to support process improvements and better service delivery.
- ** Professional Development & Product Knowledge**
- Stay informed on manufacturer products, services, promotions, and recalls to better assist customers.
- Maintain a customer-first mindset and continually develop communication and sales skills.
**Qualifications & Competencies**
- Previous customer service, call center, or sales experience (automotive industry experience is an asset).
- Strong communication and active listening skills, with a professional and friendly phone manner.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to providing excellent service.
- Comfortable with outbound calling and following up with customers.

**Salary range starting at $36,000.00 up t o$50,000.00 yearly plus commission, based on experience.**:
