**Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Collect, process, and store biological specimens (e.g., blood, urine, skin biopsies, swabs) according to study protocols.
- Organize lab kits according to study protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of lab activities, sample tracking, and test results. Enter information into eCRF and manual CRF.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), IRB protocols, and FDA regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of lab materials and documentation for audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with clinical coordinators, investigators, and sponsors to support trial operations.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and manage inventory of supplies.
- Participate in training and continuing education related to dermatology research and lab techniques.
- Provide administrative support and backup to the Junior CRC (recruiter)

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Medical Technology, or a related field.

- Familiarity with clinical trial protocols and laboratory safety standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry and laboratory information systems.

**Preferred**:

- Experience in dermatology or skin-related research.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS).
- Successful completion of the Clinical Trials program at Seneca College or Humber College, with internship completed
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical trials (e.g., ICH-GCP)
- Successful completion of Phlebotomy Training

**Working Conditions**:

- Medical office-based clinical research setting in an open concept space
- Weekdays only (no weekends), however there may be some evenings depending on study needs
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required (i.e. unpacking medical supplies and restocking rooms)
- No guarantee of hours when clinic is closed (i.e. no doctors or patients present)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $19.90-$20.96 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
