**Overview**
**Duties**
- Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols
- Provide detailed menu information, including specials and dietary options, to guests
- Clear tables, reset dining areas, and ensure cleanliness throughout the shift
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and sanitation practices.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and allergen information, to assist guests effectively
**Experience**
- Previous dining restaurant or food service experience preferred or hospitality background is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including food handling and safety regulations
- Experience with serving in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey orders and interact with guests professionally
