Stefanos Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant in New Westminster seeking a dedicated and energetic Server for weekend shifts. Stefanos caters to families, couples and groups celebrating memorable moments. We also host a dine and dance every Friday and Saturday to live music. We are currently seeking a new front of house member to grow with our small, hardworking group. Bring your passion, strong work ethic and love of people to our team

**Job Overview**
As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all customers feel welcomed and satisfied throughout their visit. Your ability to communicate effectively with both customers and co-workers, while managing time efficiently will be the key to your success in this fast-paced environment.

**Duties**
- Greet and seat customers promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders while upselling additional items to enhance the dining experience.
- Prepare your own beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and maintain communication during busy periods.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is required.
- Previous experience mixing drinks and knowledge of the bar is required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and customer requests simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and co-workers.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated during busy shifts.
