**Job description** **Job Summary** WelcomINNS Ottawa is currently looking for detailed oriented '' **PART TIME" Room Attendants** to join our Housekeeping Team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** - Clean assigned number of rooms / areas per work shift according to the hotel's standards - Clean all aspects of the guest room, including beds/bedding, furniture, bathroom, carpet, etc. - Report any room deficiencies to the Housekeeping Manager - Maintain cleaning equipment, stocking of carts - Maintain linen rooms in a clean and tidy condition at all times - Return all “Lost and Found” items to the Housekeeping Office - Follow Health and Safety rules and guidelines at all times - Perform other related duties as required by your direct Manager **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Relevant education and experience is preferred but not required - Energetic, flexible, hands-on individual with initiative and integrity - Friendly and pleasant demeanour - Excellent customer service orientation - Highly organized and detail oriented, with a passion for cleanliness and tidiness - Work well under pressure, without supervision, independently and as a member of a team - Able to perform well in a fast paced work environment - Good communication skills - Strong teamwork skills - Must be physically fit to perform job duties as per hotel standards - Must be able to understand verbal English - Must have a valid Canadian work permit - Previous housekeeping experience an asset - **Must be available to work on Saturdays, Sundays, Evenings and Weekends**: - Must be flexible with hours **WORK CONDITIONS** - Will spend 100% of the time standing and walking during the work shift - Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds on regular basi **Job Type / Category** **Job Type**: Part-time **Required Education, Skills and Qualifications** Previous experience an asset. **Job Type**: Part-time Part-time hours: 16-32 per week **Salary**: $18.50 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Every Weekend - Holidays - On call - Weekend availability **Experience**: - Cleaning: 1 year (preferred) - Hotel Housekeepers: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person **Edit job** Paused **View public job page** **Job Type**: Part-time Part-time hours: 16-32 per week **Salary**: From $18.50 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Monday to Friday - Morning shift - Night shift - Weekend availability **Experience**: - Cleaning: 1 year (preferred) **Language**: - English (preferred) Work Location: In person
