**Role Description - Marketing Coordinator**

Here are some of the duties that the new Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for:

- Coordinating the overall marketing effort of the company in consultation with senior management
- Creating and updating the overall branding of Para-Mentors and associated organizations
- Leading the brand's presence on social media platforms
- Deploying marketing initiatives for new and existing products and services
- Designing and/or editing websites
- Designing and improving systems as needed to increase the efficiency of marketing and sales processes
- Continuous improvement using techniques such as split testing and data analytics
- Working with other departments as needed (operations, sales, etc)
- Reporting KPIs to the executive team

**Position Expectations**

Para-Mentors has the following expectations of our new Sales Manager:

- _Time Management - _You'll be responsible for maintaining multiple time-sensitive priorities. This could include planning new projects, working on multiple campaigns, communicating with other departments, etc. Making effective use of time is a critical aspect.
- _Independent Work Ethic - _You'll be responsible for designing and deploying new initiatives independently, and following those initiatives to completion. While you'll always have the leadership team to rely on, being able to work independently is a key to success.
- _Electronic communication _- you must have access to a cell phone, computer, and reliable internet access for both. We use digital communication for all of our internal communications and you must be able to adapt to using leading communication platforms such as Slack, Google Suite, etc.
- _Professionalism_ - Our whole company model is based on being the best in whatever industry we enter, and that is especially important in our frontline operations. We want our employees to be enthusiastic and passionate about their roles and consistently display this in their work.

**Key Attributes**
- Education or working experience in healthcare or emergency services. ie - paramedic (preferred), nurse, firefighter, physician, RT, law enforcement, etc.
- Experience in marketing roles applicable to this position
- Excellent ability to create digital content for a variety of purposes
- Experience working with various social media platforms, including Facebook, IG, TikTok, Meta Business Suite, Reddit, Google Business, etc
- Experience deploying advertising campaigns, including digital paid ads using Meta or Google
- Excellent ability to work with graphic design and editing software such as Canva, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve
- Experience or working knowledge of website editors such as Wix, Wordpress, Webflow, or others
- Familiar with recording / streaming / broadcast software such as OBS Studio, Facebook Live, or others
- Familiar with using video switcher devices such as the Blackmagic ATEM Mini or equivalent
- Experience using professional photo and video hardware, such as mirrorless or DSLR cameras and professional camcorders
- Education in project management or experience performing PM duties
- Excellent communication ability - verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills
