Concession Cashier

**We are looking for amazing staff to bring energy and great customer service skills to fans returning to TD Place Stadium.**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Carefully enters all sales into the POS to ensure that all purchases are accurately recorded.
- Processes credit card transactions, and issues receipts to customers.
- Processes and executes all vouchers correctly.
- Performs sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion.
- Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Required to replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with managers/supervisors/team lead and co-workers to effectively accomplish goals.
- Must be able to operate equipment such as cash registers, calculators, coolers, and beverage machines.
- Must interact with co-workers in a friendly and cohesive manner.
- Must assure compliance with company service standards, company inventory and cash control procedures.
- Completes closing cleaning tasks and restocking of assigned concessions area, ensuring the Team Lead signs off on the completion of these tasks.
- Follows and maintains all HSQA policies and standards.
- Must wear proper PPE including non-slip shoes and hair coverings.
- All other tasks as delegated by manager/supervisor/team lead.

**Physical Demands**
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds. Proper lifting techniques is a must. Employees are expected to get help if needed.
- Frequent periods of standing and walking are required; employees are encouraged to stretch as needed.
- Frequent use of stairs is required; elevator accessibility is limited to accommodating clients and staff with mobility and accessibility needs. Please speak with manager if you require accommodations.
- The stadium environment is a larger site and tends to involve higher physical demands on event days.
- Please note this stadium is a loud environment on event days. Hearing protection may be available - ask your supervisor.

**Qualifications**
- Must have flexible availability with schedule and able to work different shifts
- Must be bondable, and pass an employer administered background check.
- Must be able to demonstrate basic mathematical skills
- Must possess a valid Smart Serve Certificate

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.55 per hour
