Concession Team Lead

**We are looking for amazing staff to bring energy and great customer service skills to fans returning to TD Place Stadium.**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for all duties assigned to concession.
- Lead, support, and assist team members in assigned concession.
- Work as cashier or concession helper per operational needs within the concession.
- Carefully enters all sales into the cash register to ensure that all purchases are accurately recorded.
- Processes credit card transactions, and issues receipts to customers.
- Performs sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion.
- Interact with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner. Escalate issues to supervisor when needed.
- Required to replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas when needed.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with managers and co-workers to accomplish goals.
- Must be able to operate equipment such as cash registers, coolers, and beverage machines and any other machine assigned.
- Assure compliance with company service standards, and company inventory procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of assigned concession stand.
- Ensure all HSQA policies, procedures and expectations are being met.
- Ensure proper completion of waste and HSQA logs as assigned.
- Delegate tasks to team members throughout the event and ensure team assists in leaving the workspace clean to HSQA standards before end of shift.
- Ensures safety talks are completed by all associates in assigned concessions.
- Ensures all staff have signed in and out in concessions binder.
- Communicates inventory needs to supervisors.
- Fulfill all required tasks by the end of the shift.
- All other tasks as delegated by manager.

**Physical Demands**
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds. Proper lifting techniques is a must. Employees are expected to get help if needed.
- Frequent periods of standing and walking are required; employees are encouraged to stretch as needed.
- Frequent use of stairs is required; elevator accessibility is limited to accommodating clients and staff with mobility and accessibility needs. Please speak with manager if you require accommodations.
- The stadium environment is a larger site and tends to involve higher physical demands on event days.
- Please note this stadium is a loud environment on event days. Hearing protection may be available - ask your supervisor.

**Language Skills**
- French is considered an asset, but is not mandatory.

**Qualifications**
- Must have flexible availability with schedule and able to work different shifts.
- Must be bondable, and pass an employer administered background check.
- Must be able to demonstrate basic mathematical skills
- Must possess a valid Smart Serve Certificate
- Must complete all mandatory training. Failure to complete can result in disciplinary actions up to and including termination.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.55 per hour
