**About the role**

Under the supervision of the Senior Technical Advisor, you will be contributing to the design, delivery, and review of NI's nutrition systems integration plans and deliverables, ensuring their quality, practicality, scalability, and technical accuracy. These are accomplished through the following:

- Technical Support to Program Planning and Management_
- Support the planning and implementation of NI's Systems Integration Checklist piloting phase across 2-3 countries including criteria for country selection, pilot testing protocols, roll-out, quality assurance, and management of deliverables by hired external consultants.
- Identify appropriate consultants to support implementation and / or analysis of pilot tests across three countries.
- Support next steps in the design and testing of NI's Systems Integration Approach including modifications to NI's Checklist for Systems Integration based on findings from pre-testing and pilot phases.
- Support the establishment of a M&E component to the Systems Integration Checklist and / or Approach inclusive of oversight of and quality assurance for an externally hired consultant to lead the M&E design with support from relevant GTS STAs / Practice Area Leads.
- Support the development of additional tools, guidelines, and knowledge products related to NI's Systems Integration Approach.
- Conceptualize and help design systems integration research components for NI country programs, as deemed relevant.
- Contribute to thought leadership around a potential NI Systems Integration Initiative within the organization and what may be required to effectively operationalize based on findings from the piloting phase.
- Draft and negotiate TORs for grants and contracts as required.
- Monitor progress and ensure satisfactory delivery of required goods and/or services.
- Inter-Unit Collaboration_
- Support the preparation of internal and external communications, knowledge, and technical products to profile work and guide NI's Systems Integration Approach.
- Draft, and/or arrange for fact checking of technical content in communications materials intended for public use (web content, briefs, presentations, blogs, etc.).
- Provide inputs and contribute to the development of concept notes and funding proposals for donors.
- Strengthening NI's Profile_
- Donor reporting, including coordination and completion of reports for smaller grants, as directed.
- Fostering and maintaining relationships and partnerships

And other duties as required.

**About **you**

You are a research-oriented and highly analytical individual with minimum 5 years of experience in a similar function. You have a Bachelor's degree with a focus on nutrition, foods and nutrition systems and/or health sciences; possessing a master's or doctorate degree is an asset. You have a working knowledge with system approaches to program design and implementation, ideally within public health and nutrition space. You have experience working across and within multiple sectors as a means of optimizing program performance.

Fluency in English is required. Fluency in other major languages will be considered an asset.
