- Ensure the equipment is kept clean, safe, and properly maintained.
- Wash the truck weekly.
- Wash trailers and equipment as required.
- Operate the equipment in a safe and courteous manner
- Be able to efficiently navigate the city.
- Check that the transmission oil, engine coolant, washer fluid, brake fluid, and power steering fluid are at their proper levels every time you refuel the truck.
- Walk around the equipment every morning to inspect for any damage, and ensure the lights are working.
- Open the hood on the truck every morning to inspect for damage and check the engine oil.
- Immediately inform the Equipment Manager of any problems with the equipment.
- Coordinate with the Foreman, Project, and Mechanic for the efficient repair of the equipment as needed.
- Ensure that all waste organics, wood, concrete, and garbage is kept separate at all times.
- Ensure the security of the equipment at all times.
- Organize wood, stone, sod, soil and other materials, as needed.
- Initial all invoices and receipts, confirming that all material delivered has the correct associated job number.
- Submit all receipts and invoices daily.
- Be able to work effectively with Aspire, Google Maps, Texting, and Bluetooth.
- Assist the Project Manager and Foreman with the coordination of a project as required.
- Load and unload, as required.
- Assemble the correct materials for each job as required.
- Ensure the street is clean after loading and unloading.
- Ensure materials left on-site are properly barricaded.
- Coordinate with the Foreman the timing of their materials throughout the day.
- Assist the Project Manager and Foreman in ensuring the complete and accurate materials for each project.
- Assist the crew on site as required.
- Allocate materials and invoices correctly within Aspire

The incumbent must be:

- Physically, emotionally, and professionally capable of properly and effectively operating equipment safely.
- Capable of loading and unloading materials.
- Hold a valid Drivers license, and maintain a clean driving record.
- Have a working smartphone.

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
