At Qualitrol, we are redefining condition-based monitoring. Job Summary: - Solder, assemble and test solder electronic components, PCBA’s, and cable assemblies. Duties & Responsibilities: - Inspection of soldering to IPC-610 standard (Class 3). - Assemble mechanical/electronic components according to manufacturing work instructions. - Build cable assemblies & solder electronic components/connectors. - Test simple electronic assemblies. - Follow ordering procedures for inventory stock levels (kanban). - Follow all work instructions and procedures. - Maintain a clean and organized environment. - Adherence to departmental and company policies and procedures. Including the 5 “S” Principles, ISO, misc. quality system procedures **Requirements**: - Education: High School with commensurate experience or post-secondary certificate in related field. Required Experience: - IPC-610 Class 3 Soldering and Inspection Surface mount soldering, solder inspection, cable assembly. - Must be able to use hand tools for assembly when required. - Must be detail oriented, precise and fast learner. - Must be able to read, understand and follow instructions/drawings. Communication: - Must be fluent in English. Must be self-motivated and be able to communicate well. Effort Factors: - Physical Demands: (If applicable) Ability to work with a microscope occasionally. - Good hand eye coordination, stable hands for delicate component assembly Occasionally lifting < 50 lbs. Mental Demands: - Fast paced, working towards critical deadlines.
