Our growing company is currently looking to hire Journeyman and Sr. Instrumentation Technicians to join our team, in partnership with LNG Canada, based out of Kitimat, BC. This is a long term/local opportunity, with crew houses & company vehicle available on a 28/7 shift with 2 years plus project trajectory. Travel and accommodations are provided in the interim, with the goal of permanent relocation.

**AS OUR INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO**:

- Support Journeyman and Apprentices in equipment maintenance, replacement, and installation.
- Assist with calibrations and installations involving instrumentation tubing.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing tools.
- Manage advanced calibration equipment (e.g., Hart Communicators).
- Perform basic instrumentation tests and complete calibrations.
- Use advanced meters for continuity, resistance, and voltage checks.
- Work with systems such as compressor panels, RTUs, BMS, and production equipment.
- Monitor gas, LEL, and fire detection sensors.
- Safely work on live processes, including system isolation and depressurization.
- Perform additional related duties as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- Journeyman Instrumentation Technician.
- A valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract.
- Valid First Aid, CSO, and CSTS.
- Control system experience in Yokogawa, Hart Communications or Foundation Fieldbus is considered an asset.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry in plant construction or plant maintenance is considered an asset.
- Ability to work in various working conditions ranging from outdoors to indoors in a variety of weather conditions and working from heights as needed.
- A pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required prior to employment.
