**Primary Responsibilities**:
The Manager in mass spectrometry acts as a mentor by assisting, coordinating, training and overseeing the work of Direct Reports and other employees of the mass spectrometry group. Ensure quality of work/optimization of schedules/setting of priorities.

**Tasks Performed**:

- Coach, Mentor and Manage direct reports in regulated study management.
- Overseeing projects scheduling and deliverables on contracted studies assigned and maintain the associated management tools.
- Ensure quality standards maintained with respect to project deliverables and client interactions
- Act as a leader to improve the efficiency in the daily work.
- Participate in problem solving related to various types of projects.
- Interact with bioanalytical/support groups and/or other departments to optimize the work/schedule and instrument usage for upcoming/ongoing studies.
- To conduct all work in compliance with SOPs, GLPs, GCLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies.
- To perform employee evaluation.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, propose and implement solutions to improve quality and efficiency in the laboratory
- Address assigned Quality Issues related to the lab (ZenQMS)
- Observe all company guidelines and policies, and keep up to date with respect to pertinent regulatory developments in the industry
- Responsible for any other duties as assigned

**Desired Profile**:

- College degree and/or University degree in sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Immunology, Biology or appropriate field)
- 5 years of pertinent experience In medical and/or pharmaceutical fields.
- Experience in lab management an asset.
- Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrate initiative and ability for solving complex problems.
- Fluently bilingual, written and spoken in French and English.
- Software: MS-Office
