**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate daily shipping activities to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage a team of shipping associates, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement shipping procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
- Conduct regular audits of shipping processes to identify areas for improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Ensure Proper Documentation is Complete and included with Shipments
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure completion of both routine and unexpected maintenance of shipping equipment
- Adhere to all Procedures and Policies Relating to Internal Shipping Regulations
- Perform Miscellaneous Projects as Directed by Direct Supervisor
- Assist with order consolidation by customer’s requested ship date
- Ensure department is following packaging procedure for all shipments
- Place orders for packing materials
- Develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the Shipping and Receiving department
- Identifies and solves problems and issues on a daily basis
- Prioritizes responsibilities and multi-tasks to ensure operations proceed correct and on-schedule
- Reports problems and issues to Direct Supervisor
- Completes all necessary and required documentation associated with the operation accurately and in a timely manner before and after any assigned shift
- Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- This is a heavy labor position
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Shipping department is required
- Monitor direct reports attendance and performance
- Ensure coverage in regards to vacations, sick days, and any other time off allowances
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a shipping environment.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
