**Who we’re looking for**:
We’re looking for a Food Production Worker who can contribute to our evolving and growing team. We require consistency, efficiency, and the ability to maintain our high-standard production process.

We are seeking individuals with working knowledge of HACCP, cooking and food industry experience, and a safe food handling certification is required. Packaged food production is beneficial.

**Job Type**:

- Full-time
- Flexible Schedule
- 40-44 Hours/week
- Weekly Monday - Friday schedule
- Weekends as needed

**Salary**:$20.00 - $22.50 per hour, depending on experience
- Prepping all ingredients for broth production
- Produce broths and fats per the production schedule, recipe, set processes, and standards
- Safely packaging products upon completion of the cooking process
- Safely packaging orders for pick-up and deliveries
- Clearing and cleaning the facility at the end of the day
- Cleaning and general maintenance of all equipment and cooking utensils
- Assist as required with receiving deliveries and thoroughly checking invoices for product quality and quantity
- Follow kitchen manuals, recipes and prep sheets, daily work schedules, kitchen procedures, cleaning schedules and all other duties as assigned to ensure a successful production.
- Maintain production and inventory logs.
- Ensure full compliance with all company policies and procedures of the production space.
- Ensure execution of cleaning and sanitation practices that are in strict accordance with both Government regulations and our Production policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper health and safety practices are adhered to optimize efficiency, work safety, and food safety.
- Provide input and/or assistance as requested by the management team for various operational tasks such as inventory-taking, order packaging, and any other requests the team member is deemed capable of performing.
- May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.

**Skills**:

- Ability to take initiative with little to no instructions - be curious and eager to jump in and do what needs to be done.
- Be detail-oriented, paying close attention to our high production standards.
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items up to 23kg (50lbs)
- Ability to work honestly and independently with little to no supervision
- Ability to multitask and stay organized, maintaining a clean workstation including all equipment and utensils
- Standing for long hours is part of the job
- Maintain safe and sanitary workspace
- Must be respectful of the kitchen space and co-workers
- Ability to bend, twist, and kneel occasionally

**Requirements**:

- A working knowledge of HACCP and/or GMP is required.
- A Food Handlers Certificate is required.
- Experience in a food production / commercial kitchen facility is required.
- Must have a Culinary School diploma or degree, or education in Food Safety and QA.

Pay: $20.00-$22.50 per hour
