Beyond day-to-day oversight, the Supervisor/Trainer champions the “Respect the Ramp/Honour the Hangar” initiative, cultivating a team culture focused on safety ownership, continuous improvement, and service excellence.

Use real-world scenarios, incident learnings, and hands-on instruction to embed safety awareness and best practices.

Train staff not only on “how” to perform tasks but on the “why”—building ownership, confidence, and pride in their work.

Mentor line crew and Lead Hands in adopting new ramp technologies (e.g., electric tugs, collision-avoidance systems, digital checklists).

**Safety, SMS & Compliance**:
Serve as a frontline leader in the Safety Management System (SMS), encouraging proactive reporting, hazard identification, and open communication.

Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and culture-building sessions that reinforce respect for equipment, aircraft, and each other.
