**About Aztek Solar Ltd.**: Aztek Solar Ltd. is a leading solar energy provider in Nova Scotia, committed to delivering high-quality solar panel installations and renewable energy solutions. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and support our transition to the Zoho accounting system.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll transactions.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for management.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Work closely with the management team to streamline financial processes.
- Lead the transition of the company's bookkeeping system to Zoho accounting software.
- Generate reports and provide insights on financial data as needed.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency with conventional bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and willingness to learn Zoho accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Nova Scotia employment and tax regulations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.

**Work Schedule & Benefits**:

- Approximately 2-3 days per week (flexible scheduling as needed).
- Office-based; on location.
- No company benefits, other than those mandated under Nova Scotia employment law for part-time employees.
