MTE Logistix Group of Companies is looking for a **WAREHOUSE OPERATOR**to join our team. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for satisfying the requests of our customers through the timely and efficient movement of product in and out of the warehouse. Performs receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and storage functions.
**Wage**:21.75 per hour.
**Location**:14627 128 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5L 3H3.
**Employment Type**: Full-Time / Permanent / Union
**Schedule**:3:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Midnight), Monday to Friday. Overtime, statutory holiday, and weekends may be required.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
**Specific Duties**
- Unload and receive incoming shipments.
- Verify incoming quantities against receiving documentation, report any variances in detail.
- Place products in designated locations in warehouse; or for change of storage locations within the warehouse, complete bin location tracking documents.
- Organize product storage areas for efficient storage, take direction and make recommendations for space capacity improvements with Supervisor.
- Read and understand P/S and/or B/L received from CSR or Supervisor.
- Pick orders as per instructions on P/S and/or B/L.
- Verify picked quantities/items for accuracy, report variances to Supervisor.
- Pack and prepare orders for outbound shipping as per order/customer instructions.
- Load and ship outgoing orders.
**General Duties**
- Load and unload products and materials using material handling equipment including pallet jacks, power jack, forklifts, reach trucks and order pickers; maintain certification on material handling equipment.
- Achieve picking and packing productivity levels, with a goal of 100% accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with standard operating and safety procedures, completing all required checklists.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility; monitor inbound/outbound trucks/containers for cleanliness to ensure a safe environment for the products.
- Ensure GMP training is followed and advise Warehouse Supervisor of any potential food safety risks that may occur.
- Report all errors, missing or damaged product, any racking and equipment deficiencies and all safety incidents and safety hazards to Supervisor immediately.
**Qualifications**
**Must-Have**
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1.5 years experience on a **Reach Truck** and **Counterbalance Forklift**.
- Minimum of 1.5 years experience on a **Ride on Electric Power Jack**.
- Ability to operate a RF Scanner.
- Preference given to applicants with 1+ years’ warehouse experience including order picking and stacking products.
- Demonstrated strong safety commitment, time-management, verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented, and organized.
- Must be physically fit, be able to stand for long periods, and be comfortable with repetitive lifting.
**Nice to Have**
- Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience

The starting wage, overtime and shift premiums are in accordance with the Collective Agreement. This opportunity includes a union pension and health and welfare plan.
