**Profile**:
Reporting to the National Director, Mass Marketing, the **Program Assistant, Philanthropy** provides general programmatic and administrative support to different program areas of the Philanthropy team.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Provide overall administrative support to the Director(s)
- Under the guidance of the National Manager, Events and Community Fundraising, work on the logistics and execution of MODC’s signature and other fundraising events (30-40%)
- Process expenses for all Philanthropy programs including: creation and approval of vendor contracts, agreements, purchase orders, invoices, cheque requisitions etc.
- Provide departmental Staff/HR support - organizing onboarding/offboarding activities and performing payroll related tasks
- Provide departmental administrative support including: arrange meetings and manage logistics, order supplies, maintain vacation schedules and team calendars, assist with the office move etc.
- Manage data, records and information pertaining to the team
- Provide support to Philanthropy projects, campaigns and initiatives, as assigned
- Prepare various reports as requested

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in a related field of study
- Minimum 3 years related administrative experience
- Exceptional organizational, planning and time management skills
- Good numeric aptitude and accuracy with data
- Ability to maintain confidential, sensitive and personal information
- Excellent communication skills to interact with internal staff and external stakeholder
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills who is flexible to changing demands of the job
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced business-like environment, with mínimal supervision
- Not-for-profit sector experience is an asset
- A valid driver’s license is an asset

- This position will be a member of the national team, reporting to our Toronto office.
- Hybrid (minimum 2-3 days in office)
- 3-month contract position (with opportunity to become a permanent employee)
