Customer Service and Cashier

Highlights:

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Process sales transactions (cashier)
- Assist customers with finding items in store / offering basic recommendations
- Help with loss prevention oversight
- Receive inventory and restock shelves.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Undertake general store housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, etc.)

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in customer service or cashiering would be an asset
- Strong customer service skills (courteous, helpful, sincere, well groomed) and a high-level of tolerance when working with the public
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong familiarity with using computers (POS and MS Excel experience an asset)
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency, while also providing executional service
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
