We’re looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to work alongside our like-minded team - a therapist who is passionate about patient and family centred care, obsessed about creating an outstanding patient experience, empowers patients to reach their full potential and treats every client with the respect and compassion they deserve.
At The Hive, our Speech Language Pathologists perform assessments and treatments on a wide variety of children, babies and adolescents. Our SLPs
- provide a full range of clinic services and virtual services based on what best fits the needs of each client.

- Effectively understands the patient's symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals
- Develops and communicate personalized treatment plans for each of your patients
- Listens to the parent/caregiver’s concerns and understand what is truly important and pertinent
- Accurately documents the patient's condition and progress
- Builds strong relationships with patients and their families, key community members, team members and referral sources
- Openness to implementing new treatment approaches, strategies, and technology changes in the industry to enhance the client's engagement
- Participate in business and community development initiatives to drive awareness and new assessments to the clinic
- Participates in ongoing clinical education
- Great problem solving skills
**_What you’ll do each day_**
- You will work with a solely paediatric caseload to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, directed towards maintaining and enhancing their speech/language/communication skills, daily life and well-being
- You will be responsible for managing and prioritizing clinical caseloads, and for the coordination and delivery of therapeutic services
- You will participate in a collaborative care model providing holistic, comprehensive care to meet the needs of clients
- You promote positive relationships between clients, team members and community
- You will regularly participate in clinic growth strategies
**_Here’s what you’ll need to be successful_**
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with experience in paediatric and young adult assessment and treatment
- You are a registered member in good standing with the College of Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
- You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
- Minimum of 1-3 years of working experience, bonus if its within paediatrics
- Specialized course training in Paediatric Speech-Language Pathology
- Knowledge of relevant community resources
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Flexibility to provide services outside of normal business hours based on client needs.
