As a Co-ordinator - Parts Service within our Fleet Services Department, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and maintaining the appropriate and efficient automotive stock levels in order to service all Peel Regional Police fleet vehicles.

**What will your typical day look like?**
- Enters and verifies data for work orders using Material Management Fleet Services software system.
- Maintains inventory levels of automotive parts and coordinates the acquisition and pricing of all parts; liaises with vendors and updates current physical stock locations and descriptions.
- Processes invoices related to all automotive expenses using Fleet & Asset Management software system.
- Purchases goods as per established procedures and compiles data for financial activity reporting.
- Assists in the preparation of work orders.
- Drives vehicles to and from dealerships, parts pick-up, and other vendors as required.
- Receives goods as delivered.
- Maintains an accurate and up-to-date filing system for all vehicles and vendors.
- Answers telephone inquiries and distributes messages.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

**You are someone with**:

- A High School Diploma, plus additional secondary course(s) and/or training, e.g. automotive parts and inventory control, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift/Counter Balance/Reach Truck Certification required.
- A minimum of two years directly related experience required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of general automotive parts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control systems.
- MS Outlook.
- Well-developed data entry skills.
- Demonstrated physical ability to perform all activities.
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence (Class G) with full driving privileges.

**What we offer**

The hourly rate for this **temporary**, **full-time **position is **$27.26** to **$42.76**, **based on a 40 hour work week**. Peel Regional Police offers a highly competitive compensation package.
