- Saw Machine Helper to join our Team on our Day Shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you are interested in developing your skills in an engaging and inclusive environment, then this is the job for you

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Saw Machine Helper is responsible for performing routine and varied tasks in alignment with production processes within the wood department. The Machine Helper will be required to cross-train on positions and comply with SOPs and quality standards of all products while adhering to Health & Safety and BRC policies on a consistent basis.

**Requirements**:

- Manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
- Basic math skills required. Must be able to understand verbal and written work instructions, which are typically routine, as accuracy and attention to detail is necessary.
- Ability to operate pump trucks and read a tape measurer.
- Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.
- Willing and able to follow specific instructions.
- Knowledge of Product quality and good production methods
- Ability to understand and follow established personal safety, security, and environmental practices. Is knowledgeable of, and compliant with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and Occupation Health and Safety Act (OSHA).
- Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds and to carry, move, manipulate and/or position them and to move, bend, twist or maintaining awkward body positions while performing work.
- Possesses good hand and eye co-ordination and muscular control sufficient to operate tools or equipment and to see closely and/or listen intently in order to achieve very detailed results and/or detect flaws or errors.
