Wood Machine Helper

**Overview**
The Machine Helper is responsible for performing routine and varied tasks in alignment with production processes within the wood department. The machine helper will be required to cross-train on positions and comply with SOPs and quality standards of all products while adhering to Health & Safety and company policies on a consistent basis.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the machine operator by helping to load and unload finished parts from the machine.
- Transfer parts between departments, and to/from staging area using a pump truck.
- Perform all work to company standards and ensure final product meets quality standards.
- Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to Production Supervisor or Plant Manager.
- Complies with all company health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Participate in packaging finished products for shipment, ensuring that all items meet quality control standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve manufacturing processes.

**Experience**
- Familiarity with Fanuc systems and programmable logic controllers is preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of CNC programming, machining techniques, and mechanical assembly is essential.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus.
- Basic math skills are required for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.

Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour
