**About the role**

We are looking for a hands-on multi-talented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Prokey. You will be reporting to the Site Manager and working together with different teams to assure our residents get the best experience in our homes.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Building relationships with residents
- Maintaining the property aesthetic - both indoors and outdoors
- Assisting in operation and checks of building mechanical systems
- Performing basic maintenance and repairs as needed
- Completing touch-ups as needed
- Building and maintaining relationships with contractors

**What we’re looking for**
- Previous experience in performing basic maintenance and repairs (plumbing and boiler maintenance preferred)
- Grade 12 Diploma
- A strong desire to learn new skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands and effective time management skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Ability to work in varied climates and conditions
- Landscaping experience is an asset
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Material Information Systems (WHMIS) is an asset

Pay range: $25.00- $29.00 per hour
