**Responsibilities**
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling fur for dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, providing recommendations for care as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions.
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Handle pets safely and securely during grooming procedures, including heavy lifting of larger animals when necessary.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred or a pet grooming certificate.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with pet owners.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods while grooming pets.
- Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming needs is a plus.
