**Rustproofing Technician**

**Krown Oakville is currently looking for a Lube Technician to join their busy Service Department. We are seeking an entry level apprentice who would like to help, learn and grow within our shop.**

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Responsibilities Include but not limited to**:

- Listens and works with the Manager/Owner who will serve as a Mentor and Training Coach to the Apprentice Technician.
- Performs the work described
- Ability to do all the areas of job, washing vehicles, spraying the bottom of vehicles
- Continuously communicates with the Service Advisor and/or Shop Foreman to provide him/her with updates on Customer vehicle, to notify him/her if any additional work is required, or if any issues.
- Reports any defective or poorly functioning equipment to his/her Supervisor.
- Reports any incident which may affect the appearance or condition of a vehicle to the Service Advisor as soon as possible.
- Ensures that his/her Shop area is clean and free from hazards.
- Maintains all the tools and manuals belonging to the Dealership and takes responsibility for them; returns them to the correct location, in the same condition as when he/she received them.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.
- Ability to drive standard cars a bonus
- Willing to get dirty
- Repetitive job
- Available to work some Saturdays as needed.
- English speaking and able to follow directions
- Team player

Contract length: 3-5 months

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
