Heartbreakers is looking for a FOH Manager to join our team We’re a family owned pizza shop in Hintonburg/Wellington West neighborhood with a cozy 20+ seat dining room and bustling takeout service. The FOH Manager acts as a leader of the service team and works with BOH management and owners to support our systems, policies and hospitality standards. In addition to championing the service and beverage side of the restaurant, the FOH Manager is responsible for fostering a work environment where employees feel respected, safe and are able to focus on working hard and making memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities include

  • Manage service staff to encourage their development.
  • Be the lead problem solver on the floor.
  • Active participation in weekly management meetings.
  • Follow management protocols and model best practices.
  • Be present and working service five nights per week.
  • Engage staff on beverage, food & service knowledge.
  • Get the restaurant ready for service each day.
  • Order and organize weekly paper product deliveries.
  • Complete monthly beverage inventory.
  • Assist in planning, and execution of large orders.
  • Create the FOH schedule and manage time off requests.

Qualifications/skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Smart Serve certificate.
  • Proficient in reservation platform Resy, POS Touch Bistro, Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Drive.
  • Experience managing employees.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours per day as well as accomplish heavy lifting.
  • Able to work flexible hours as necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively, including weekends and closing shifts.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest conflict

FOH manager wage is 20$ PLUS Tip out. Tips are shared equally for front and back of house staff. Expect an additional $6-$8 per hours in tips (for a total of $26 - $29/hour total).
