Qualifications:

- Graduate of a recognized RN program required.
- Registered and in good standing with their related Licensing Body
- Valid Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Experience and knowledge in human resources and/or labour relations.

Specific Accountabilities as a member of our Care Partner Team:

- Day-to-day community administration
- Using the available resources, the Assistant Wellness Manager is responsible for delegating, coordinating, and evaluating the delivery of care based on the Resident Care Plan & Service Plan (if applicable).
- Ensure an interdisciplinary effort to achieve the successful integration of quality of life and quality of care.
- Adhere to Health Services Contracts.
- Responsible for the discipline and discharge of LPN’s and HCAs and participates in investigations and grievance processes in accordance to Well-Being Strategies. Liaise with the Manager/HR regarding human resource items as required.
- Ensure that care delivered recognizes each Resident as an individual so that personal needs are met beyond traditional nursing practices.
- Education & orientation for all employee care partners.
- Teach delegated services to care partners as per accepted practice standards.
- Liaison with Care Team (i.e., Resident, Family
- if applicable, Home Care Nurse, Doctor, Pharmacy, Care Partners, and other health care professionals) as required.
- The Eden Alternative Philosophy is embraced to ensure that each Resident’s life can be fully enhanced.
