Title: Electronics Service and Repair Technician

Company: A medical device service company located in Ontario is looking for a field service technician in the Vancouver area.

**Salary**: Starts at $50,000.00 per year and can be more, based on electronics knowledge and repair experience, with a possibility of a yearly increase based on performance.

**Requirements**:

- Must be a college or university graduate with a diploma or certificate in electronics technology.
- Able to read and understand detailed schematics.
- Strong knowledge of PCB components and functionality of high voltage power supplies.
- Good understanding of electronic component functions.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment down to component level.
- Experience with high voltage power supplies is considered an asset.
- Excellent soldering and de-soldering skills are required and will be verified during the interview.
- Knowledge of medical products is a plus.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lb. without assistance.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and self-time management skills.
- Ability to work quickly and adapt to change under pressure.
- Good driving record with no traffic violations.
- Must be 25 years of age for driving insurance reasons.

Note: The job responsibilities is to travel to customer sites for repairs and maintenance.
