Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring a full-time Machine Operator who is eager to work in a fast-paced team-oriented work environment in our Richmond, BC location.

Shift - 1:00 PM - 9:30PM
- Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Reporting directly to the Lead Hand or Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurate completion of documentation when required
- Works in a safe manner and follows all safety procedures
- Set up and operate machines - slicers, dicers, peelers
- Perform testing procedures to ensure machines are working optimally
- Perform food processing functions including manual cutting, washing, and drying of products.
- Able to identify and retrieve products for processing
- Able to read the recipes (weight, cut size, volume)
- Monitor and troubleshoot basic machine problems/perform regular safety checks

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

Previous manufacturing experience in a food processing facility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be flexible with regards to working in production areas where needed the most
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
